This year, Samsung Knox Vault, one of Samsung’s most advanced security features, is being introduced to Galaxy A series users, including those using the new Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G. This security solution, which is hardware-based and resistant to tampering, provides robust protection against both hardware and software attacks by creating a secure execution environment physically isolated from the system’s main processor and memory. It safeguards critical device data, including lock screen credentials and device encryption keys, ensuring that only users with the correct lock screen credentials can access their data.

The Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G are also secured by Samsung Knox, a multi-layer security platform trusted worldwide. Samsung Knox is designed to protect critical information and guard against vulnerabilities with secure hardware, real-time threat detection, and collaborative protection, providing a comprehensive approach across the entire Galaxy ecosystem.

The Galaxy A series also offers Auto Blocker for additional protection. This opt-in package can block unauthorized app installations, scan for potential malware, and block potentially harmful commands and software installations when connected by USB cable. New Galaxy A series users will have access to the Security and Privacy Dashboard, making it easier to monitor and control their data and permissions. They can also use Private Sharing to securely and encryptedly share private files containing important personal or financial information.

The new Galaxy A series smartphones reflect Samsung’s commitment to keeping Galaxy devices secure and up-to-date. With the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G, users will benefit from up to four generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and five years of security updates, ensuring the devices stay current with the latest Galaxy and Android features.

Thanks to Auto Switch, incoming calls will automatically switch to connected Galaxy Buds FE for added convenience.
